This woman is the mother of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. She was picked by the president to be it's first director but was blocked by the GOP which not only disliked the idea but was determined to torpedo anything that Barack Obama has attempted to do. So she returned to Massachusetts, ran for the Senate and won.
